SAMAK MASHWY ~ GRILLED FISH

Egyptian recipe: Samak Mashwy ~ Grilled fish

Ingredients
  • From 1 1/2 - 2 kg Fish
  • Rice, Lemon, and Green Onion
  • 2 cups Flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Spice mix: prepare a dry spice mix of: Cumin, Salt, Mixed spices, hot Chili and Garlic (crushed).
Preparations
  • Wash the fish, remove scales with a sharp knife, and leave the fish whole.
  • Dip the fish into flour, coat both sides
  • Stuff each fish with the spice mix. Grill the fish. Add salt and pepper.
  • Serve the fish with rice, lemon, green onion.
